You need to do two things to reserve your spot:
1. Submit your application [located here]. Read the Terms & Conditions in the application form.
2. Then, pay your $400 non-refundable application fee.
This is a $400 non-refundable application fee for the Senegal Summer #2 July 6 -17, 2025 program for French language educators. The fee will be applied to the total cost of the program which is $4980 ($400 fee + $4580).
We will confirm when we have received both your application and application fee. The remaining $4580 will be paid in two equal installments due on October 1, 2024 and March 1, 2025. Vive will send you an invoice for each payment. Payment in full is also accepted. Contact Vive if you would like to pay in monthly installments or if you would like to pay your application fee by ACH.
Please note: We need at least 10 Participants in order to run this trip. If you sign up and we do not reach 10 Participants, we will refund your application fee. Anticipated departure is early evening on July 6 or shortly after midnight on July 7 (Sunday night / early Monday). In either case, we anticipate you need to arrive to the departure airport in the afternoon on Sunday. You should return to the USA on July 17 and then continue to your destination on the same day. We will keep you updated!
Waitlist: If you submit your application fee and application after we have reached our capacity (18 Participants) we will keep you on the Waitlist and will let you know next steps.

Senegal Summer #2 July 6-17, 2025
- Collaborate with French teachers before, during, and after the trip to create shareable curriculum units and lessons.
- Interact 1-1 and in small groups with Senegalese students, professors, experts and families in various cities and villages.
- Visit UNESCO sites such as the Island of Gorée.
- Focus on topics such as education, art, history, environment, language.
To become accepted as a Participant you need to both pay the $400 Application fee and complete to the Program Application [located here] which includes an agreement to the Terms and Conditions for this Program.
